***The first 59 Boys applying by Sunday, July 7th who meet any one of the below exemption categories will be automatically accepted into the 2024 Northern Junior Championship. Should spots be available after July 7th, selections will be made on a weekly basis to applicants meeting a criteria until the field is complete.
If you meet any one of the below categories, you will be automatically accepted into the event. Only the oldest division of listed events are considered.
Exempt Category #1
Top 1000 in the JGS (Junior Golf Scoreboard) Rankings as of date of application, or,
Top 400 in the AJGA Rolex Junior Rankings as of date of application
Exempt Category #2
Top 10 and Ties from the 2023 Northern Junior Championship
Exempt Category #3
Champion & Runner-Up (plus ties) in 2023 or 2024 State Junior Amateur Championship (All States) or,
Champion & Runner-Up (plus ties) in 2023 or 2024 Junior PGA Section Championship (All Sections)
Exempt Category #4
Successfully Qualified or Exempt for 2023 or 2024 USGA Championships (U.S. Junior, U.S. Amateur, U.S. Amateur Four-Ball, and U.S. Open Final Qualifying)
Exempt Category #5
Top 5 in any 2023 or 2024 AJGA Open Event, or,
Top 2 in any 2023 or 2024 AJGA Jr. All-Star Event or Jr. Preview Series Event, or,
Top 10 or Quarterfinalist in the following events (2023 or 2024): Junior Invitational at Sage Valley, Western Junior, Southern Junior, Dustin Johnson World Junior, Scott Robertson Junior, North & South Junior, Junior Orange Bowl, Bubba Conlee Junior, Canadian Boys Junior Championship, Gator Invitational, and all AJGA Invitational Events.

Champion of one of the following US Challenge Cup Major Championships (oldest age division only):
2024 – Junior Match Play Championship, Computer Merchant Cup, Spinal Technology Junior Classic,, Long Island Junior Classic, Dale Smith Memorial Classic, World Series of Junior Golf
2023 – Challenge Cup Boys Championship, Wampanoag Classic, The Gately Cup, GreatHorse Junior Invitational, Granite State Junior Classic, Northeast Junior Classic, Nutmeg Junior Championship, Cape Cod Junior Classic and Ocean State Junior Classic
